Dissemination & multiplier events

At the Transnational Meeting I were shaped administrative, implementation, financial and reporting issues, and procedures for the UnsEU management. Two representatives on behalf of BIDA e.V. (DE) and GLOW (BG) joined, and 2 members of the hosting partner Alpha Centre (ES). The international coordination team got to know each other, the project implementation structure was reviewed, and all management rules were discussed. The partners shared visions about their responsibilities and corresponding deadlines for each task. Team building activity of cultural character took place, getting to know the traditions and customs of the Castile and Leon region in Spain.

During the final project transnational meeting was presented the project draft evaluation report by GLOW, the visits to the project social media and YouTube channel by ALPHA, the updated project website by BIDA e.V., the distributed e-newsletters and the results from the UnsEU workshops, public debates and online seminars.

Two representatives on behalf of each partner and 3 on behalf of the coordinator BIDA assisted, and discussed the development of follow-up activities, the multiplier events' planning, and reviewed the supporting documents for the UnsEU final report, including review of all budget items and their costs' eligibility. Last team building activity took place on the topic of the Fall of the Berlin Wall (35th anniversary).

Thematic Workshops Public Debates

During the implementation of the UnsEU project centres, the partners achieved the following results:

• Organised workshops in the 3 partner countries on EU history and achievements with total of 191 participants;

• Celebrated public debates involving total of 126 rural people to discuss on the current EU strategies and priorities;

• 3 online seminars with 57 guests from Bulgaria, Germany & Spain debating on the Future of Europe;

• mobile units, EU promotional campaigns, mobile expositions and delivery of materials to rural areas in Cisterniga, Veliko Tarnovo and Suhl;

All participants in the implemented activities demonstrated a high satisfaction with their involvement in the project events, and gratitude for the opportunity to take part in the UnsEU project.

Visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg Multiplier events in Bulgaria, Germany & Spain

In the frame of the project dissemination activities, 173 people were involved in multiplier events in the 3 partners' regions in Bulgaria, Germany and Spain; 18 rural people took part in the international event - visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where the drafted common UnsEU Citizens' Paper was presented to representatives of the European Parliament; approximately 4720 people were involved indirectly through the run project dissemination channels.

Additionally, between the 3 partner countries the project achieved:

• 1896 visits to the created UnsEU website

• 40 participants in the video contest on What is Europe for me,

• 158 followers of the project social media,

• 1215 e-newsletters distributed to relevant stakeholders, public & private organisations, networks in 4 languages,

• 150 flyers disseminated online in 4 languages,

• 3 regional & 1 international event celebrated,

• 33 members of the created UnsEU network from the 3 partner countries and 6 other EU Member States, under process of enlargement to include more EU countries/regions as follow-up activity.
