Über das Projekt

Das allgemeine Ziel der UnsEU (Unser Land Europa) besteht darin, zu einem tieferen Verständnis der ländlichen Bürger für die Werte, die Geschichte, die Vielfalt der EU beizutragen.

Das Nachdenken über die Identität der europäischen Bürgerschaft durch die Einbindung in das EU-Lernen von Menschen aus verschiedenen ländlichen Gebieten der EU könnte den Bürgern helfen, den Politikgestaltungsprozess der Union besser zu verstehen und Möglichkeiten für gesellschaftliches Engagement und Beteiligung auf EU-Ebene zu fördern.

About The Project

The general aim of the UnsEU project is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the rural citizens of the values, the history, and the diversity of the European Union.

Reflecting on the identity of European citizenship by involving people from different rural areas of Europe in European learning activities, could help the citizens to better understand the Union policy making process and encourage opportunities for societal engagement and participation at European level.

Overview

Location / Participants

In the UnsEU project, rural people from different parts of Europe can discuss, debate and plan their common European idea. Citizens from 3 countries will meet in Strasbourg to visit the EU institutions and learn about various thematic focal points of the debate on the future of the European Union. The project directly reaches 300 rural citizens and approximately 3000 indirectly. All participants involved will expand their EU knowledge, experience and personal perspectives.

Objectives

Activities / Tasks

The UnsEU project activities will help bring the rural people closer to the European idea and bridge the intercultural, intergenerational, and social divides they suffer. The rural citizens will be involved in thematic workshops, public debates, online seminars, video competitions, multiplier events, and the creation of a UnsEU Paper to be delivered to the EU institutions. The follow-up activities will ensure continued active citizenship of the rural world.

Im Projekt UnsEU können Landbewohner aus verschiedenen Teilen Europas ihre gemeinsame EU-Idee diskutieren, debattieren und planen. Landbürgerinnen und Landbürger aus 3 Ländern treffen sich in Straßburg, um die EU-Institutionen zu besuchen und verschiedene thematische Schwerpunkte der Debatte um die Zukunft der EU kennenzulernen. UnsEU erreicht direkt 300 Landbewohner und ca. 3000 indirekt. Alle beteiligten Teilnehmer werden ihre EU-Kenntnisse, Erfahrungen und persönliche Perspektiven erweitern.

Die Aktivitäten der UnsEU werden dazu beitragen, die ländliche Bevölkerung der EU-Idee näherzubringen und die interkulturelle, generationsübergreifende und soziale Kluft, unter der sie leiden, zu überbrücken. Die ländlichen Bürger werden in thematische Workshops, öffentliche Debatten, Online-Seminare, Videowettbewerbe, Multiplikatorenveranstaltungen und die Erstellung eines Papiers einbezogen. Die Folgeaktivitäten werden die weitere aktive Bürgerschaft der ländlichen Welt sicherstellen.
